SunSinai ("we", "us") provides tourism, event, and conference management services across Sinai, Egypt. This page explains what personal data we collect when you contact us through this website and how we handle it.

What we collect

When you submit our inquiry form, we record the information you provide:

  • Your name and email address (required)
  • Phone number, travel dates, party size, and message (optional)
  • The type of service you're interested in
  • Whether you've consented to follow-up contact

We also automatically record:

  • The date and time you submitted the form
  • A one-way hash of your IP address (the raw IP itself is not stored)
  • Your browser's user-agent string
  • Which page on our site you submitted from

How we use it

We use the information you provide to:

  • Reply to your inquiry about tours, events, weddings, conferences, or accommodation
  • Coordinate your booking with hotels, transport, and other suppliers when relevant
  • Improve our services by understanding what guests are asking for

If you tick the marketing-consent checkbox, we may also send occasional updates about new offers and seasonal availability. You can opt out at any time by replying to any of our emails.

Who we share it with

Your information is shared only with the suppliers needed to fulfil your inquiry — for example, the specific hotel or transport provider you've asked about. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties.

Where it's stored

Inquiries are stored in our database hosted on Hostinger's servers. Access is restricted to authorised SunSinai staff.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for up to 24 months from the date of your last contact with us, after which they are deleted. Bookings that proceed to confirmed reservations may be retained longer to satisfy local accounting requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccuracies
  • Delete your record
  • Stop receiving marketing communication

To exercise any of these rights, email info@sunsinai.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and we'll act within 30 days.

Cookies

This website does not set tracking cookies. We may add basic analytics in the future; if we do, this page will be updated and we'll seek consent where required.
